Town & Country would like to thank all children that took part in their local and nationwide “Design Your Own Gardening Glove” Competition.
It was first piloted in Leicestershire in March 2016. 545 entries were received in the three months that it ran and a panel of five met to choose a winner.
The winning design was created by Jawzi Jawhir of Mellor Community School in Leicester.
The competition was so successful that Town & Country decided to take it nationwide. Between March – June 1,856 entries were received, the below panel of gardening experts met on June 20 to choose their winner:

Town & Country received entries from all over the UK, including Cornwall, Edinburgh, Cardiff and the Midlands, coincidently the UK winner also came from Leicestershire.
1st place: Aiden Dev Parmar – Leicestershire
2nd place: Rose Tompkins – Essex
3rd place: Saffiyah Memi – Walsall
The winning gloves will be showcased at this year’s Glee and will be available in participating garden centres and via the website from January 2017 onwards.
